How it works this year:

Toyland is going to look a little different this year.

We are introducing a new drive-up Toyland experience. You will no longer need to get out of your car to receive holiday gifts.

Toyboxes will be specially prepared in advance by our staff and volunteers, with different boxes and gifts available for different ages and genders. After you have registered for the event (more info below), you will receive a specific timeslot during which you may come to receive your gifts.

Upon arriving, drive up along the South side of the building, by the entrance to the People’s Pantry. Our staff and volunteers will greet you there, collect your information, and deliver your prepared Toybox directly to your car.

How to register:

What time do I arrive?

You must arrive during your assigned pick-up time, as listed on your registration confirmation email through SignUp Genius. We cannot accommodate early or late arrivals, due to high volume and limited space.

Can I come at a different time?

Please come at the time listed on your registration confirmation email through Sign-Up Genius. Toyland closes promptly at 4:00 PM. If you arrive after 4:00 PM, we will not be able to serve you.

Where is my confirmation email?

You will receive a confirmation email from SignUp Genius upon registration. This will be in your email inbox promptly after initial registration.

How are pick-up times determined?

To help manage the high number of families attending, pick-up times are scheduled by the first letter of your last name. Families with last names starting with the letter A will begin at 9:00 AM, followed by each letter group in order throughout the day.

How do I know what my kids are getting?

Our Toyland boxes are curated to your children’s ages and genders. Each Toybox is thoughtfully filled to ensure fairness, consistency, and a joyful experience for every child.

What documents do I need to sign-up?

This year, we are requiring one of the approved forms for each child:

  • Child Medicaid Card/Eligibility letter
  • TANF Assistance Record
  • Free and Reduced Lunch Approval Letter
  • Birth Certificate
  • SNAP Approval Letter

 

If you do not provide one of the forms listed, your Toyland registration will not be approved.

Why could I not sign-up for Toyland?

Our Toyland program is open to individuals who are currently enrolled in Center for People services. When we check Clarity cards upon registration, we are not able to approve you if you are not already a part of our community.

Due to limited funding, we are only able to accommodate 300 families this year.
