If you are age 70½ or older, a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) allows you to give directly from your traditional IRA to Center for People while potentially reducing your taxable income. Your gift can also count toward your required minimum distribution (RMD), even if you take the standard deduction.
QCDs must be transferred directly from an eligible IRA and are subject to annual limits. Please consult your financial advisor or tax professional to see if a QCD is right for you.
