Hala and her family suffered unspeakable atrocities in Iraq because they had supported the U.S. Army. Ultimately, they were forced to flee. Hala first came to the Center for People to feed her family.
She volunteered, took English language classes, and passed her citizenship exam. Now she works here as a distribution floor specialist.
