Meet Daisy

Pantry Manager

Daisy is a compassionate leader who believes in equity, joy, empathy, and the power of affirmation.

As Pantry Manager, she fosters a warm and welcoming environment where everyone feels valued. A true creative at heart, Daisy has a deep love for art, reading, and music, having spent much of her life as a musician. She’s also a plant-lover, bringing the same care and nurturing spirit to her work with our community.

What’s a fun or interesting fact about you that most people wouldn’t guess?

“I was heavily involved in music all throughout my childhood and early adult life. I have been trained on many different instruments, but my first love will always be the bassoon.”

What’s a book, movie, or song that inspires you and why?

“I love so many different books, movies, and songs – you can’t make me choose! What I love most is the feeling of reading/watching/listening to something new. No matter how much we know or see, there is always so much more left for us to discover.”

When faced with hard times, what was the best advice you received or the biggest lessons you learned?

“I am lucky to have such a wonderful circle of friends and family to help me get through the tough times. However, at the end of the day, I will always the be the hero of my own story, and I’m constantly amazed at how far I’ve come and how far I will continue to go.”
