“I was born and raised here in Lincoln, NE. Something most people wouldn’t guess is that I am a twin – fraternal twin – my twin has blonde hair and blue eyes and we are complete opposites. I have a love for accounting and finance, and two of my absolute favorite jobs were working for a record company and radio station group (where I met my late husband) …as I am a huge music lover so I got the best of both worlds and met my soul mate.”
“I just finished the audiobook “The Let Them Theory,” and it is AMAZING. Teaches you a lot about yourself… how to regain control and achieve fulfillment… teaches you what you have allowed in the past and how to set boundaries moving forward and that it’s okay to protect your peace.”
“To have a photographic memory! To be able to make sure I had the answer to something when I needed it without having to use Google.”
“When my late husband was terminally ill with ALS… the struggle of taking care of him and my baby daughter was very difficult to say the least. My faith, family, and friends helped through some very challenging and sad times. Best advice… keep going and let go and let God. You really find out how strong you are when faced with many struggles, but I had to learn the hard way of asking for help as I always wanted to be independent. And I also learned that being vulnerable and needing help is a sign of strength… not weakness. Now I am able to help others going through the same struggles and share my story. I live my life treating people how I want to be treated. If you have the ability to make someone smile or create a great memory for someone, why wouldn’t you? 😊”
