Center for People’s Professional Development Pathway is designed to help you develop and strengthen your soft skills, gaining the confidence and expertise you need to thrive in any professional environment.

With our immersive, hands-on approach, you’ll learn how to communicate effectively, work collaboratively, and build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders. Led by experienced instructors, our training modules cover a wide range of topics, from effective listening and conflict resolution to leadership and emotional intelligence.

With our proven techniques and personalized coaching, you’ll be well on your way to achieving your career goals and becoming a highly valued team player.

High School Diploma

As part of our Professional Development Pathway, we offer community members the opportunity to go back to school through Penn Foster. This allows learners to gain the skills they need, and earn their high school diplomas as a result of their efforts.

Claiming Strengths

Claiming Strengths is an interactive, strengths-based class led by Center for People’s certified Gallup Strengths Coach, Lindsey Licht. This class is designed to help participants uncover their top CliftonStrengths and apply them with confidence and purpose.

English Language Learning (ELL)

When you’re starting over in a new city, so much depends on being able to communicate – your housing, your job, your social circle. Learning to speak the language can turn an overwhelming experience into a new adventure.  

We offer free English Language Learning (ELL) classes for anyone for whom English is not their primary language. New students are tested to identify their skill level, and progress through the program at their own speed.
