Toyland FAQ

Toyland is a cherished Center for People tradition during the holiday season. As part of our holiday gift-giving event, families are invited to visit our facilities and receive gifts for their children.

To help us create a magical experience and ensure every child receives a gift to call their own, we kindly ask those who plan on attending to register in advance.

TOYLAND REGISTRATION INFO

When and where is Toyland registration?

Toyland registration will take place at Center for People from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Dec. 2 – Dec. 5, and also from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Dec. 6. Please enter through Door 3 on the south side of the building, then continue down the hallway to the Nelson Conference Room.

Do I need to register for Toyland?

Yes. To register, visit Center for People between Dec. 2 and Dec. 6. You must be enrolled in Clarity prior to Dec. 6. We will not be doing new Clarity enrollments, card updates, or replacement cards during Toyland registration.

How do I enroll in Clarity?

We have dedicated hours to new Clarity card registrations every Friday from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.

What do I need to bring with for Toyland Registration?

You will need a current Clarity card, as well as proof of relation and age for each child you are registering. Documents that will be accepted as proof include:

  • Birth certificates
  • Social security cards
  • Current health insurance cards with the child’s name
  • Current Medicaid cards showing the child’s name

Is there a minimum or maximum age of children that can be registered for Toyland?

Children from newborn to the age of 18 can be registered for Toyland.

What if I lost my Clarity card?

You have to have your Clarity card with you to shop. If you lost your card, visit Center for People to get a replacement card prior to Monday, Dec. 2.

When should I arrive for Toyland at Center for People?

Upon registration, you will receive a personalized date and time for your family to attend Toyland. Please arrive at the specified date and time that is given to you.

What if I miss my assigned time for Toyland?

To create a smooth and festive experience for everyone, we kindly ask that all Toyland attendees arrive on their assigned date and time. Unfortunately, those arriving on a different date or time may not be admitted to Toyland.

Where do I go once I arrive for Toyland?

Enter through Door 3 on the south side of the building, then visit the check-in table just inside. Once you are checked in, you will be assigned a personal shopper to help you navigate the event.

What do I need to bring with me on the day of the event?

You will need to bring your Clarity card and your registration verification card that you received when you registered.

Will I be able to choose the toys I want?

Yes. Tables are arranged by age group. Your personal shopper will direct you to the correct table and you will be able to select from the toys available.

Will I be able to shop the People's Pantry during Toyland?

The People’s Pantry will be open during regular hours the week of Toyland. You will enter and exit the People’s Pantry through Door 2. You will not be able to bring carts of food into the Toyland area.

Will other Center for People programming be offered during Toyland?

No. Center for People’s regular programs will not be offered on the days of Toyland. That includes our computer lab, our educational programs, and the front desk.

Do I need to register for Toyland?

Can I shop for a friend or family member who is not able to attend Toyland?

No. You will only be able to register for Toyland with your own children or those that you are a legal guardian of.
