Sara is the incredible numbers expert at Center for People, keeping the organization’s financials on track with precision and expertise.
She’s also one of the most lovably eccentric people here. Sara is a passionate Taylor Swift fan who is just as happy attending a heavy metal concert for bands like Amon Amarth or Gojira. Her fun-loving spirit always shines through, and she is relentlessly proud of the Shrek costume she wore to work for Halloween.
“The county I was born in has a higher population than the entire state of Nebraska – and it’s only 1% of the size! (Orange County, CA)”
“Long Live by Taylor Swift – it gives me a sense of nostalgia and comfort for the past but also excitement and hopefulness for the future.”
“Magic/sleight of hand. I would do magic tricks all of the time. During board meetings – “is this your card?” Milestone Celebrations – rabbits everywhere. No one would be able to stop me.”
“My maternal grandmother once told me “being a human being on planet Earth is hard.” I’ve lived through a decent amount of hardship and the biggest lesson I’ve learned through it all is that it’s so, so easy (and worth it) to be kind.”
